Before COVID hit, our oldest was taking piano lessons from a lady in our town, but she moved while the world was shut down, so we had to do something different after things opened back up. However, we went back with a different method - zoom piano lessons. My husband and I knew Hannah from when she was growing up, and we knew she gave in-person lessons, so we reached out to her to see if she would be his piano teacher over distant learning. That first year went so well that we added our second child the next year. This school year is our fourth year of zoom piano lessons with Hannah, and she is now teaching all three of our children! We are so grateful for her and the growth we have seen in our children. Our oldest is now in his second year of band in the public school system here and thriving because he had a good base of theory and reading music from Hannah.

Miss Hannah is really fun and an amazing teacher. She allows you to pick the pieces you learn and is always open to new ideas. She makes every lesson enjoyable and productive. When there’s a problem, Hannah knows just how to fix it. There hasn’t been a lesson when I’m not filled with joy right after. I have loved every minute of lessons with her, and I am very grateful to have her as my teacher.

Hannah has helped our daughter to begin to understand her love for music and how it can be molded into a discipline to play for expression and the pure joy of creating something that sounds pleasant to the ear. As a homeschool family, we seek out unique opportunities to learn on many different levels. Hannah has done well with not only teaching our daughter piano with creativity and patience but working with our unconventional lifestyle and schedules.

She wants you to try your best. She doesn’t push you. She doesn’t make you embarrassed. She cares for you and is patient. Hannah is an amazing teacher.

I started with Hannah after my other piano teacher decided to stop teaching. Right off the bat I knew that this was going to be a great fit for me. I come into lessons ready to work but knowing that I’m going to have fun too. I can enter the lesson in the worst mood and leave with the biggest smile on my face. I just finished my second year with her and feel like I have truly learned to appreciate music in my life.

Hannah is an amazing piano teacher! My son was having trouble focusing in school. I wanted something that taught him a skill but also helped hone in his focus and attention to a certain subject. Hannah did 15 minutes lessons with him and made it evident from the get go that he was going to listen and work hard for her, which he did very soon after his first lesson. She was patient but firm in just the way he needed. His lessons helped him tremendously in focusing better at school as well as in his lessons. He just finished his second year with her and is loving it!
